A few years ago, a Syrian bride disappeared just before we were supposed to begin.
Two hours passed with no news.
Then she returned quietly.
She apologized softly.
She had simply needed to walk. To breathe. To find herself again.
I didn’t ask questions.
I waited.
Because in that moment, one thing became completely clear:
A bride is never just a face to be made up. She is a story that needs space.
Since then, I carry that lesson with me into every wedding.
